In your video you use the little green tabs to protect against accidental discharge while repacking the RSS. At the end of the video those tabs are still in place. Once you reach the river and get ready to head out on the water you would remove the green tabs before heading out right?

I've seen these things installed and this literally looks like something you can catch your foot on if you're trying to exit the kayak, which can't be good if you're underwater, it could literally cause some people to panic. Honestly I don't see this as a great idea for safety reasons. This thing needs to be more streamlined and rigid against the u/s of the deck with nothing to catch your feet on. Really would have liked to have seen suction cups instead of permanently gluing this thing to your kayak.

Thank you very much for your honest assessment of "waterproof" deck bags! So many deck bag products are advertised as "waterproof", but are not. While the materials are waterproof, the bags are not (as I discovered when I tipped over in my Perception.) Just ordered the Taj M'Haul bag from your shop. :)

Comp ih sit? Or composite?

I have been refurbishing my Old Town 119 for some quick water up to class 2 and have bought and installed your seat and knee pads , I have also added air bags and an extra thwart . After trying it out in some Class 2 water I realized I need the straps to stay in more solidly . Check out some of my videos on you tube - Tony Volpe . I am a 72 year old arthritic enthusiast who hates to give it up , ha !
